Will Apple Launch Its Foldable iPhone in 2022 ?!

Apple has reportedly commenced assigning foldable iPhones to its assembling partner Foxconn for testing purposes with a possible release in September 2022.

According to Economic Daily News, testing involves evaluating the use of OLED or Micro-LED display technology, “because the choice of either screen will affect the succeeding assembly methods”.

Apple has also asked Foxconn to conduct over 100,000 opening and closing tests.

“Similar tests that were conducted for the laptop models claimed to be opened and closed at least 20,000 to 30,000 times,” the report said on Tuesday.

Apple To Launch Foldable iPhones:

Since foldable phones will be folded and unfolded far more frequently than laptops, the bearings inside them also need more meticulous testing.

The first foldable iPhone is presumed to offer the storage of at least 8GB of RAM and 256 GB, and the baseline model may cost about 1,499 Dollars. According to the reports, it will be unveiled in November 2022.

This is not the first time Apple is rumoured to be operating to develop a foldable phone model.

According to earlier reports, Apple secured a batch of foldable phones from Samsung, inferring that it is working on foldable iPhone models.
