Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered night curfew in all towns and cities of the state from 10 pm to 5 am with effect from 1 December, on Wednesday, 25th November 2020.
Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh also reportedly increased the fine for spurning COVID-19 rules to Rs. 1,000.
According to the order, all hotels, restaurants and marriage venues in Punjab will be obliged to close sharply by 9:30 pm, starting 1st December 2020.
These curbs will be reviewed on 15th December 2020.
The Punjab CM reportedly tweeted the following about the night curfew:
