The nepotism brouhaha has long left Kangana Ranaut and has now entered the Bigg Boss 14 house. This time around it was Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya who used the term as an allegation during the nominations in the reality show.
Rahul Vaidya nominated Jaan Kumar Sanu for eviction, the sole reason being – nepotism. He said that Jaan Kumar Sanu is in the show only because he is Kumar Sanu’s son. Rahul Vaidya’s comment was highly reprimanded by the other inmates of the house. With Weekend ka Var coming closer, everyone is sure of what’s going to happen with Vaidya.
Salman Khan, who has been and is hosting Bigg Boss for years, who himself is the son of writer Salim Khan, was irked by Rahul Vaidya’s disgusting and annoying comment. Salman Khan took up the Weekend Var session and schooled Rahul for making the nepotism comment. This was seen in the promo trailer for the Bigg Boss 14 weekend episode on Twitter.
It started with Salman Khan asking Jaan Kumar Sanu if his father had ever recommended him for a job, and the singer said, “No sir, not once has dad ever recommended me.”
Then Salman Khan questions Rahul, “If my father does something for me, does that become nepotism? Urging someone to pick and hire your children, is that reasonable in this industry? I want to know.”
Ghar mein nepotism pe chhidi behens ko kiya @BeingSalmanKhan ne radd, aur kaha #BiggBoss14 ka ghar nahi hai iss discussion ka platform. Kya hoga aage? Jaaniye aaj raat 9 baje #Colors par.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode, Rahul Vaidya was seen apologising to Jaan Kumar Sanu for his statement. He even explained that he was ignorant of the fact that Jaan’s parents were separated. Jaan accepted Rahul’s apology, saying that he doesn’t hold any animosities or grudges.
